The District Youth Exchange Committee urgently seeks your support in hosting four (4) incredible Inbound Youth Exchange Students. These students are eagerly waiting to embark on a life-changing journey, but we need your help to make it happen.

We understand that circumstances may vary, but your Club's decision to host a student can transform lives and communities, and energize your members. With just a small gesture of hospitality, you can create lasting friendships, promote cultural understanding, and foster global goodwill.

Currently, we face a challenge as the Rotary Clubs we anticipated hosting are hesitant. We believe this may stem from misinformation or a lack of clarity. However, with your swift action, we can overcome this obstacle and ensure compliance with our program, and the future of our program.

Time is of the essence as these students must obtain their J1 Visa to participate. Without the support of hosting Rotary Clubs, this dream simply cannot materialize. We implore you to seize this opportunity to be a beacon of hospitality and friendship.

Together, we can make a difference. Let's come together as Rotary Clubs and show the world the power of unity and service.

Here are some details:

• Rotary Clubs can co-host a student, or offer to help with the monthly stipend of $100/month, and also includes attending RYLA, and registration to the District Conference.  The District covers the hotel room.  
• Host Rotary Clubs will have the student attend meetings once a month.
• Hosting a student in a family is approximately for 3 1/2 months.  We recommend three (3) host families to get the best experience of American life, but it is not engraved in stone.
• Host Rotary Club members do not have to host the student in their home. Members of the Community can host a student in their home but must live in the same school district.
• Public Schools are required to take up to 5 exchange students per year as per the Department of State.  They cannot deny a student from attending unless they have filled their quota.
