What is Arbor Day and why is it important?
Arbor Day, much like Earth Day, is a holiday that celebrates nature. Its purpose is to encourage people to plant trees, and many communities traditionally take the opportunity to organize tree-planting and litter-collecting events on or around the holiday.
Earth Day
Friday, April 22
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The theme for Earth Day 2022 is “Invest in Our Planet.”
Become a Charter Member of theDistrict 7505 Polio Plus Society
The PolioPlus Society is a District program to promote individual giving to PolioPlus. Members of the Society agree to give $100 per year toward polio eradication until polio is wiped out of the world. Be a part of the solution!
Commitment Statement
I pledge to help Rotary make history by continuing to contribute EACH YEAR until the World Health Organization certifies that polio has been fully eradicated because
our District 7505 Society members will receive a PolioPlus Society membership pin, and certificate and your contribution qualifies for Paul Harris Recognition Points credit. We will be presenting the the Polio Plus Society Awards on Friday night at the District Conference Awards Ceremony!
