Good Morning Fellow Rotarians,

So much is happening in the remaining months of my term as District Governor and June will be here before you know it.

Everyone's schedule is getting packed with activity, now that our members are getting vaccinated and clubs are thinking about meeting in-person again. The District has UPCOMING EVENTS that I am sure your members will want to and need to attend. Our Leadership Team is working hard to make this the best educational experience ever.

District Assembly via Zoom

Date: Monday, May 3rd For President's Elect and Assistant Governors

Date: Wednesday, May 5th Foundation

Date: Thursday, May 6th Membership

Date: Thursday, May 13th Secretary

Date: Wednesday, May 19th Treasurer

Date: Wednesday, May 26th Public Image

Purpose of the District Assembly

To prepare incoming club leaders for their year in office and build their leadership team
To give the District Governor Elect and incoming Assistant Governors and District Committees the opportunity to motivate club leadership teams and build their working relationship
Provide members of Rotary clubs the opportunity to learn more about the different programs of Rotary and to have the opportunity to become involved at club and/or district level
Provide a fellowship experience for the members of the different Rotary clubs of District 7505

District Conference Business Meeting Via Zoom

Date: Thursday, June 10th via Zoom at 6:15PM

Each year, districts are asked to hold a conference for club members so they can learn about what's happening in Rotary and their district and meet other Rotarians in the area.

Unfortunately, we will not be holding the District Conference this year because of COVID-19. We must however, conduct an official business meeting via Zoom to discuss voting results on District Finances and the incoming Budget. Our current Presidents and President's Elect must be in attendance.

District-Wide Memorial Service (right after the Business meeting) Via Zoom

Date: Thursday, June 10th via Zoom at 6:45PM

COVID-19 has touched the lives of most every one of our members, through loss, sickness, business and personal loss, stress and anxiety. For this reason it is more important than ever to acknowledge the lives of those we have loved and lost. Everyone is invited to attend.

District Changeover Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 26th

A celebratory District Event whereby Governor May Montag-McMurray symbolically passes the gavel to Incoming Governor Chuck Watson. More information will be forthcoming.
