Good Morning Club Presidents,

 

We are one month away for the deadline to receive a potential candidate for District Governor 2024-2025.  Please explore with your members the opportunity to serve beyond the club level as a District 7505 Governor.  Our job as Rotarians is to serve humanity and for District 7505 to continue our service locally and internationally. We are looking for qualified, passionate, members to secure Rotary’s future in District 7505.

 

Below and attached to this email is the excerpt from Rotary International’s bylaws that address a District Governor’s qualifications, and the paperwork to be submitted with your club’s nomination for District Governor. Please review with the Rotarian your club nominates very carefully before submitting the nomination form.

 

District 7505 is now accepting nominations for District Governor to serve during the Rotary year 2024-2025. Succession planning is essential, and training is an important part of this.  So, please send your nomination form, a Rotary and personal resume to the address listed below by Thursday, November 11, 2021.

A new District Governor is selected by a Nominating Committee. Our Nominating Committee has been selected and is made up of four (4) Past District Governors including the chair, and five (5) Past Club Presidents. Each member of the Nominating Committee is from a different county in our District. The Nominating Committee interviews all candidates and selects the Rotarian that will best serve Rotary International and District 7505.
